Many of us come from a long line of pioneers. We are descendants of those who came to a new country and who left all familiar things behind hoping for a new or better way of life. We are descendants of those who went beyond the home where they grew up because they had a dream and those who dared to turn that dream into reality. We come from those who explored new, unknown and sometimes dangerous territories for the chance at a fresh start, new beginnings and a new way of life. We come from those who went and continue to go beyond their borders in all ways. We live in a country and a world founded by pioneers and I feel that kind of spirit still lives in people and their hearts. You are the descendants of those early pioneers or have been one of your own.
This adventurous pioneer spirit lives in so many in this country and in the world today. We seem to be looking for some new adventures and new horizons but maybe we just don’t know where to turn. Well, the heart is the door to at least one more frontier and especially our inner frontier. This frontier is available inside each and every one of us and if explored as part of a relationship with Father and with Jesus, will help us to go beyond current horizons to a more spiritual and full life.
With God we can expand our horizons physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually and be whole. We can go inside and have a personal relationship with the Creator and our spirits and find those new horizons in our life and then bring them out into the world. We can dare to challenge ourselves, our fears and a world of love. I discovered that love, and more specifically, the love of the Creator, is the most powerful force out there and it is also inside of us so let’s explore this further. When we dare to discover more about God and ourselves, we are shown more about the world and the cosmos.
We can take a deep breath and inhale life and love. We can smell, feel, touch, hear, see and taste all of life and love from the heart when we let Father and Jesus guide us and show us the way.
What have we got to lose?
The pioneer spirit resides inside of us and we each have our own inner frontier to be explored. It is a place of newly fallen snow with no footprints, a wide-open blue ocean and space to be explored. Adventure awaits each and every one of us if we will but take a chance. As we learn more about ourselves and Our Father and Jesus we also learn more about others, the world we live in, what is around us and the cosmos. There are things that Father and Jesus can show us about ourselves and the cosmos that we would not learn if we tried to do it all by ourselves or by using science alone. There really is an extra dimension to life when we are in a personal relationship with Father and Jesus.
We can each be a pioneer in our lives and in the world if we let Father and Jesus show us the way. We can LIVE life to the fullest and the best that is inside each and every one of us. Since we are made in the image of God then that is where our best guide will be and we will find Him inside the heart of each and every one of us. We can share the yoke of these changes and new ways of living with God. They are here to guide us if we let them. We can learn to love God, others and ourselves in a higher and better way that will then help change our lives, the lives of others and this world in some amazing ways but in ways. We can look inside our hearts and the very heart of God and we do this by getting to know ourselves and seeking God. It is a delight and a wonder and the most wonderful kind of journey.
We can be a part of the current generations that are breaking the cycles – of abuse, of pollution, of addiction, of neglect, of “mental” or spiritual illness, of domestic and other kinds of violence, of cancer, of selfishness, of poverty, of ignorance, of being stuck in the box, of suppression, of control, of greed, of disease, of … any cycle it is that is causing suffering for God, for ourselves, for others, for the environment and for this world.
We can be a part of the current generations that are ready to boldly go into new frontiers of the heart and the inner frontier and thus, of God, of others, of medicine, of energy, of weather, of spirituality, of nutrition, of music, of plants, of love, of sound, of color, of the psyche and beyond our physical nature into the world of spirit and truth, of healing, of the cosmos and of so many new horizons in every way of life.
There are so many new and wondrous possibilities out there – if we could only see them. We can see them though if we let Our Father, Jesus and ours heart guide us through the darkness and into the light. It is love that will help us to change our world and to go in new and different directions that will help us expand ourselves, our minds, our bodies, our spirits, our relationship with God and our world. We can grow in new ways. We can push to new horizons and we can taste life fully.
Let’s ignite our spirits and our hearts. Let’s find the passion in our lives and let’s let Jesus show us true love and passion as only He can show us. Let’s climb that tall tree. Let’s sail the emotional and spirituals ocean. Let’s climb the mountain of God. Let God plant a seed in your heart. Love. Let’s go beyond current and safe borders to those new horizons and new adventures. There are plenty of places to go with Father and Jesus as our guides and there are plenty of new horizons out there for everyone to explore.
In which direction is your passion to be found?
With God all things are possible.
For a little bit of adventure and a challenge on how to see new horizons and new possibilities, give the following movie a watch:
KON-TIKI (2012)
Based on the amazing true adventure of Thor Heyerdahl, Kon-Tiki is the tale of a Norwegian explorer in 1947 who embarks on the voyage of a lifetime to prove a point. When the scientific community rejects his theory that South Americans were the first to settle in the Polynesian Islands, Heyerdahl resolves to prove its validity … sets off on the epic 101-day journey. “[1]
I understand completely his laugh at the end. I took my life out of the box and tried some new things, even things that went against currently accepted treatments or ideas, and look what God has done … Father and Jesus have shown me so much love and taught me so many amazing things. I feel better than I have ever felt in my life, especially in my heart and soul. This is for everyone as we are all God’s children and Father and Jesus have something special in mind for each one of us that only they can show us. They amaze me every day.
FEEL Jesus laugh. Find this laugh in your own life.
When we learn about ourselves, our hearts and our inner life then the bigger picture will become even more clear as time passes. The microcosm of humanity and each spirit really seem to be a smaller version of the macrocosm of God Our Father, Jesus and the cosmos in many ways. We can then see God reflected in the universe around us, in all of life and even in others and ourselves. Humbling to be sure … like feeling like a small one standing before God in Zion National Park … but amazing always. I’m still learning but I find it ALL pretty fascinating and amazing if you ask me. Love seems to be the biggest part of it all.
When we start to learn more about having a relationship with Father and Jesus and our own inner life, along with our own heart, then we will start to have a much bigger understanding of other people and the cosmos that we will never get if we continue to look only outside of ourselves for answers.
What if we all start to explore our own inner frontiers and then start to put what we discover into the pool of life to help each other and this world? Think how the world could change in so many ways and areas of life.
Imagine the possibilities …

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did.
So throw off the bowlines.
Sail away from the safe harbor.
Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore. Dream. Discover.
